Log For Your Log

Delete your Log account

For Log For Your Log on Android and iPhone, made by Kinori Labs. Effective October 14, 2026.

You can delete your Log account, and the data that goes with it, whenever you like. You can do it in the app or, if you cannot open the app, by email. This page shows both ways, then lists exactly what is deleted, what we keep, and for how long.

The short version: in the app, open Settings, then Account, then tap Delete account and cloud data. In the app it happens right away. Cannot open the app? Email us and we will delete your account within 30 days. Logs that live only on your phone are not touched unless you choose that, and deleting your account does not cancel a subscription.

In the app (the fastest way)

This works on iPhone and on Android. You need to be signed in to your Log account. If you signed out, or you installed the app again, sign in first with the same account you used before (Google on Android, Google or Apple on iPhone), then follow the steps below.

On iPhone

  1. Open Log, then Settings.
  2. Tap the Back up and sync card at the top. It says Manage account when you are signed in. This opens the Account page.
  3. Tap Delete account and cloud data.
  4. Read what goes. If you also want the logs on this iPhone gone, switch on Also delete the logs on this iPhone.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

On Android

  1. Open Log, then Settings.
  2. Tap the Back up and sync card at the top. It says Manage account when you are signed in. This opens the Account page.
  3. Tap Delete account and cloud data.
  4. Read what goes. If you also want the logs on this phone gone, tick Also delete the logs on this phone.
  5. Type DELETE to confirm, then tap Delete account.

When it is done, Log says your Log account is deleted. If something goes wrong, nothing is changed. Check your connection and try again.

Cannot open the app?

Lost your phone, deleted the app, or cannot sign in? Email us and we will delete your account for you.

  1. Email [email protected]. Tapping the address opens your email app with the subject Delete my Log account already filled in.
  2. Write from the email address on your account, which is the email you use with your Google or Apple sign-in. That is how we check that the account is yours. If you hid your email with Apple, say so in your message.
  3. We reply to confirm, and we finish the deletion within 30 days. We delete what is listed under What gets deleted below.

What gets deleted

When you delete your account in the app, all of this is deleted from our servers in one step, right away:

Your other phones that were signed in to the account are cut off. They can no longer upload to it.

Things we never store. Keepsake photos and Ask Poopy conversations never sync. If you chose to send one photo for analysis, or a question to Ask Poopy, it went to our server only to get an answer, and we do not store it or link it to your account. Our AI providers, OpenAI and Google, may keep that data for a limited time for abuse monitoring, under their own terms. So there is nothing of it for us to delete.

What we keep, and why

Logs that live only on your phone

Logs you never synced are stored only on your phone. We have no copy of them. Deleting your account does not remove them unless you choose to also delete the logs on your phone while deleting the account.

To remove them at any time, go to Settings, then Data & Privacy, then Delete all data. If sync is on, Delete all data also deletes your synced logs on all your devices. Your account and settings stay. Deleting the app also removes the logs on your phone, but not your account or anything stored on our servers.

Delete only the cloud copy

Want your synced data gone from our servers, but want to keep your account and the logs on your phone? Open Settings, tap the Back up and sync card, then tap Delete cloud data. It permanently deletes your synced logs, settings and progress from our servers, right away. Your other devices remove their synced copies the next time they connect. Logs on this phone stay, sync turns off, and your account stays. The Delete cloud data row shows up once this phone has synced with your account.
