Log For Your Log

For IBS days

An IBS tracker that keeps
food, poop and symptoms together.

Log For Your Log is a simple iPhone log that people with IBS use to bring clearer notes to their doctor or dietitian. It is a record, not a treatment, and it does not diagnose anything.

One log
for the whole day.

Record each bowel movement with its Bristol type and color, add meals and water, and note symptoms such as bloating, gas, cramps or urgency, each with a time and a few words.

See what lines up.

The calendar and basic insights are free. Poopy Pro adds food and symptom patterns, a PDF report and full data export. Patterns are informational, not clinical findings.

Ready for the appointment.

Instead of “it has been bad lately”, you can show when it started, how often you go and what was happening around the bad days. Our guide on preparing for a gastroenterologist appointment covers what to bring.

Working with a dietitian?

A daily record of meals and symptoms gives you both something concrete to look at. Read how to keep an IBS symptom diary and the low FODMAP basics.

A few good questions.

Does the app diagnose IBS?

No. Only a doctor can diagnose IBS. The app helps you keep an accurate record of what you eat, how you go and how you feel, which is useful to bring to that conversation.

Is it free?

Yes. Logging, the calendar, basic insights and Learn are free. Poopy Pro is an optional subscription that adds food and symptom patterns, a PDF report and full data export. See what is included.

Can I share my log with my doctor?

With Pro you can make a PDF report of your entries to bring to an appointment or send yourself. On Free, your calendar is always there to scroll through together.

Do I need an account?

No. You can start logging straight away. Your history stays on your iPhone unless you turn on optional sync.

Is there a paper version?

Yes. The free printable Bristol chart and 2 week diary covers the same basics on paper.
